Media Monday

Beginning at 2:11am, Monday morning, AMC will begin replaying the series Breaking Bad from the beginning. The episodes will be in order. All of this leads up to the return of this season's premier.

This series is about an underpaid chemistry teacher, Walt, who discovers he is dying of lung cancer. He has a son with special needs and a new baby on the way. His policeman brother-in -law inadvertantly gives Walt the idea of using his chemistry expertise to make meth and some quick money for his families' future.

This is a well written drama that weaves its characters and storyline together week after week and year after year.

I encourage you to set your DVR and watch this show. It is well written and well acted. Then you will be all ready for the new season.

  1. I love Breaking Bad. For anyone new to the show you should be prepared for just how dark it becomes. It starts off funny and by the end it leaves you needing a bath and a Disney movie to cleanse your soul, but it is amazing!

    1. So True, Joe. Thanks for adding that. I couldn't think of a way to say it last night.

  2. Miles started streaming this to replace our mad men obsession, but it is way to dark and disturbing for me. He likes it a lot, though!

    1. You can be like Dad. He wants to know what happens, he just doesn't want to watch it. So I just give him a synopsis every week. I think he even skipped a whole season, because he couldn't take it.

  3. Alright, the comments are scaring me, so I'm sort of glad I don't have cable or a DVR. I could stream it, but most likely now I won't. :)
