A Bus Full of Ladies

This past Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, I went on a ladies' golf trip to Louisiana. Besides a few mishaps with the bus, the trip went very smooth. That might seem like a misnomer, a bus full of women and a smooth trip. We didn't even have a working bathroom on the bus!

We boarded the bus just as the first rain whipped through the area in over a month. As I have mentioned in the previous post, Strawberry Shortcake was driving our bus. She just never gained my confidence. She did get us there and home though, so here's to you, Shortcake.

This was a particularly good time of year to go to Louisiana. The azaleas and dogwoods were in bloom and the humidity was low.

There was a chill in the air in the mornings,

but the days warmed up and the views were lovely.

When I got home, though, this is what I found in my own backyard
