38. That must be an impressive number because on January 19th that was the number of years Barry and I have been married. My daughters seem to think that thirty-eight years is a long time. There were days that were long, but the years have gone by quickly, girls. Thirty-eight years of marriage may be the prime time.
We haven't changed a bit. There is probably more truth to that statement than I like to admit.
It is a good thing we were never into big anniversary celebrations, because we would not have been able to do it this year.
I had surgery on my hand and, Barry had to wait on me hand and foot. He did an excellent job and was aided by family and friends with the cooking.
Love you, Barry.
For me, I got to sit in bed or on the coach, watch television, eat, browse the internet, and sleep. Pretty perfect.
Here's to another year, Barry. There should be some prime moments.
Thank you to Michelle. She posted a sweet anniversary message on her blog. http://thesweetlifeofmm.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteI'm glad this isn't about math because I didn't even understand the title. :)
ReplyDeleteHappy anniversary. I am glad Dad took care of you. Love you!
Love seeing the wedding pic!
ReplyDeleteSo you did end up having the surgery! I kept looking for a clue. Hope all is well, and, Oh...Happy Belated 38th anniversary. Glad Barry is taking such good care of you.

You guys were a cute couple 38 years ago and you still are today. Happy Belated Anniversary!
ReplyDeleteI hope your recovery is going well, too.
Thank you Jan. It has been fun. Now we will set our goals on many more years together. I have enjoyed taking care of you since your hand surgery. ..... Maybe I'll even get back to writing some SOOF articles for you soon. I have even learned where we keep things, like the sheets, some cooking utensils, etc. Who knew! I guess that SOOF or just a well pampered husband, doesn't it. I love you! "Now that is out on the internet forever!"
